Silence

After having caused quite a stir with their self-titled debut album, the power trio will up the ante with their latest release. With heavy rhythms and powerful screams followed by melodic sounds, they stay true to their signature mix. However, there is a noticeable move towards more technical and heavier riffing.

Stockholm Syndrome

The phenomenon of Stockholm Syndrome can be understood as a psychological response to oppression and dependency. In situations of high stress, our cognitive processes can lead us to perceive the oppressor as the benefactor, power as grace, and torment as redemption. This can result in the evildoer being regarded as the saviour, and the addict experiencing a form of love for them. The submissive slave will often beg and ask for mercy, expressing a desire to be saved from their pain, one way or another.
